Southeast Holdings, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Fishcom mobile application (the “App”). This policy describes our commitment to your privacy and satisfies the requirements for regulatory compliance (including CCPA/CPRA) and platform provider standards (Apple/Google).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following data to provide the Fishcom service:

Authentication & Profile: Email, password, and Google Login identifiers. We also store your name, account type (Fishing Boat, Tender, Shore-based Processor, or Floating Processor), and vessel name.

Vessel & Operational Specs: Max boat capacity, gear type, active fishery, and preferred depth units.

Precise Geolocation (Sensitive Personal Information): We collect high-accuracy GPS data to facilitate catch logging, vessel coordination, and to provide local weather, marine forecasts, and tidal information.

Catch & Effort Data: Pounds of fish on board, species-specific catch weights per set, gear depth, average weights, and the date, time, and location associated with each set.

Financial Records: Estimated monetary value per set, average value per pound, and data regarding uploaded documents including monetary value, category, associated tax, and descriptions.

Communication & Connections: Messages between users and records of user connections, including who you share data with and the specific nature of that shared data (location or fish on board).

User-Generated Content: Public notes, set-specific notes, and photos/images captured or uploaded via your camera or photo library (e.g., receipts, fish tickets).

App Preferences: Light mode and dark mode settings.
A. Account & Google User Data
If you log in via Google, we access your name and email address. Our use of this data adheres to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data or use it for targeted advertising.
B. Precise Geolocation (Sensitive Personal Information)
The App collects precise real-time GPS coordinates to provide catch logging and vessel coordination.

User Control: You may choose to enable location tracking "Always" or "Only While Using the App."

Limit Use: You have the right to limit our use of this sensitive information (see Section 5).
C. Financial & Industry Data
As a productivity and bookkeeping tool, we collect catch logs (species, weight, price) and uploaded financial documents (fish tickets, receipts).
D. Data Linking and Attribution
All personal data collected is used solely to provide services within Fishcom. We do not link user data with third-party data for the purposes of "tracking" as defined by Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
2. How We Use Data & Platform Compliance

Core Functionality: We use data strictly to provide the App’s features.

No Transfers for Ads: We do not transfer user data to third-party ad networks.

Privacy Manifests: Fishcom includes a Privacy Manifest file (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) declaring the "Required Reason" for all API usage in accordance with Apple’s 2026 standards.
3. Data Sharing & The “User” Network
Data is private by default. You may manually opt-in to share your location and vessel capacity with specific users. We do not share data with fisheries management or law enforcement unless strictly required by a valid legal mandate.
4. Data Retention & Deletion

Retention: We retain data for seven (7) years to assist with your regulatory and tax record-keeping.

Deletion: In compliance with Apple and Google guidelines, you may initiate account deletion directly within the App settings. Data will be purged within 30 days, subject to legal retention needs.
